Ljubljana Meeting

For the opening of the Ljubljana month of photography we scheduled a meeting where our new partners - Athens - was introduced. Mr Moresopoulos and son represented the Athens festival and most probably this city will host the next meeting. Among the topics discussed: a new theme for the 2016 exhibition was chosenm the working title being : Europe 9/11. Whatever the meaning of this, it is about the political, moral and social crisis in Europe. One of the topics should be surveillance and the media, censureship and the rise of neo-fascism and Europe-bashing.

Emop Meeting in Budapest

Beginning of October, our new member Budapest was hosting a quite important meeting of EMoP as we had to consider the new topic of our next common exhibition ( scheduled automn 2014 and spring 2015 ). Also important: the statutes of the association were to be signed by Budapest, Ljubljana and Luxembourg. They are scheduled to travel to Berlin, Vienna and Paris. Hopefully this will be a new start as the association will now have a legal basis.

Paris meeting in July

The Maison européenne de la photographie was hosting the summer meeting. The weather was fine, everybody was assisting except Bratislava; but thanks to video-conferencing, the problem was quickly solved. It was decided not to host the next meeting in Bratislava but in Budapest  ( October ) as the city recently joined and did not yet have a meeting.
A view of the Faubourg Saint Antoine and the Metro station Saint Paul, our favorite meeting spot.
